James F. Harrell


Managing Partner: Oaklane Capital, LLC


James F. Harrell is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Oaklane Capital. Harrell is responsible for oversight of all areas of the Oaklane Capital operations including the Management and Investment Committees. Prior to the start of Oaklane Capital, Harrell served as the Chief Investment Officer of Side Street Capital Real Estate, LLC, a Charlotte-based real estate private equity company. Harrell managed all areas of Side Street Capital Real Estate's operations and was responsible for the underwriting, due diligence and ongoing analysis of all investments within the Side Street Capital Real Estate portfolio. Before joining Side Street Capital Real Estate, Harrell had a 20-year career with Wachovia Bank (and its predecessor entities). He is a graduate of the Kenan Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration degree in 1982 and 2000, respectively.

Pete Lash

Managing Partner: Beacon Partners - Charlotte

Pete Lash is the Managing Partner of Beacon Partners-Charlotte and co-founder of Oaklane Capital. Over the past 18 years Lash and the team of Beacon development partners have developed and invested in over 8,000,000 square feet of industrial, office and flex properties in the Charlotte and Carolinas markets. In his role as Managing Partner - Charlotte, Lash oversees all day-to-day company activities including development and acquisition efforts. Prior to co-founding Beacon Partners in 1989, Lash worked with WestChase Development in Raleigh. Lash is a 1981 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a 1988 graduate of the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Gregg Sandreuter

Managing Partner: Beacon Partners - Raleigh

Gregg Sandreuter is the Managing Partner of Beacon Partners-Raleigh and co-founder of Oaklane Capital. Sandreuter specializes in single and multi-story office buildings as well as urban mixed use properties and land development. Sandreuter entered the Raleigh/Durham commercial real estate market in 1988, working with Lash at WestChase Development, and since that time has been involved in more than $250,000,000 of development, redevelopment, and acquisition projects in the Raleigh/Durham marketplace. Sandreuter's responsibilities include managing the company's various development, acquisition, and site entitlement activities. Sandreuter is a 1984 graduate of Hamilton College in Clinton, NY and a 1988 graduate of the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.

Ed Weisiger, Jr.

Principal and Founder of Beacon Partners; Principal and Co-founder of Oaklane Capital, LLC

Ed Weisiger is the original founder of Beacon Partners as well as a co-founder of Oaklane Capital. Weisiger serves in a Senior Advisor capacity for both companies and is actively involved in many initiatives. He also is founder and a Principal of Cresset Capital Partners, a Charlotte, NC based private equity investment company targeting small to medium size distributors and manufacturers. Weisiger is the President and CEO of Carolina Tractor & Equipment Company, one of North Carolina's largest privately owned companies. Carolina Tractor & Equipment Company sells, rents and services construction equipment, diesel engines, electrical power generators, material handling equipment and cranes and represents Caterpillar and other manufacturers. Weisiger is a 1982 graduate of North Carolina State University and a 1986 graduate of the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.
